Welcome to Hopeland !
Hopeland is what its name would suggest: the land of hope in development. It is a 31 acre land located in Argolida with an excellent view, between mountain peaks, with olive trees as old as time, various fruit trees, many wild herbs and close to incredible beaches. It borders with a forest and it boasts its 5 gigantic yews (declared as ‘preservable’ by the local Forest Authorities), as well as its 400 year old oak tree. It is located only 130km away from Athens, very close to world renowned archaeological and tourist attractions, like Mycenae, Ancient Nemea, Ancient Corinth, Tiryns, Nafplio and Argos.
Its objective is to provide a practical example of sustainability at all levels, where parents and children coexist for short or longer periods, enjoy the contact with nature, to promote alternative education, collective living and, ultimately, happiness. The natural building, organic - biodynamic cultivation, the application of the principles of permaculture, growing herbs, recycling, water collection, respect and co-creation with nature while minimizing the ecological footprint, are key pillars of its actions.
Started with one person’s vision with the clear desire to be collaborated with others who share similar ideas and goals. Serves as a Non Profit.
